INSPECTION
Inspection Process
Our team identifies all the exterior elevated elements requiring inspection.
A thorough on-site visual investigation of those elements and their associated waterproofing and handrails, identifying areas of concern.
Take pictures, videos and record all the findings.
A further non-invasive investigation of identified locations with borescope.
If there are areas that are identified as needing additional investigation, we would then request the small areas of surfacing to be removed to expose the structural elements on the EEE.
The removal and repair of these areas can be done either by your maintenance crew or by one of our specialists for a fee.
Inspection Report
Based on our findings we would then prepare a report stamped and signed by our licensed engineer.
The evaluation and assessment report shall address each of the following as of the date of the inspection:• The current condition of each of the exterior
elevated elements.• Expectations of future performance and
projected service life.• Recommendations of any further inspection
necessary.• Recommendation for repair or replacement
if needed.
If the investigation does not show any safety concerns, the report will be provided to owner within 45 days of inspection date. If the investigation shows safety concerns, the owner will be notified immediately of the findings and a report with recommendations on how to make the area safe would be provided to the owner within 15 days of inspection. A copy of the report will also be filed with the local governing agency.
